Warranty Policy

Thank you for your purchase from YourTech Swadlincote.


This warranty applies to purchased physical goods from YourTech Swadlincote. 

Cover

What YourTech Swadlincote warranty covers. (see exceptions sections)

  • Broken components under normal use (meaning for the purpose in which it was made) during the warranty period.

  • Component defects under normal (meaning for the purpose in which it was made) use during the warranty period.

Any broken components will be replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer, other than the delivery of the item/s. The delivery charges will be the responsibility of the customer. 


YourTech Swadlincote will repair or replace any and all damaged item/s using new or refurbished parts. 

On rare occasions the item/s can not be repaired or replaced. The customer will receive a monetary settlement, that is either the current market value, or the price originally paid by YourTech Swadlincote. The amount of use will be taken into account for a monetary settlement and deducted from the final amount. 

The warranty cover for physical goods detailed in this policy, will last a period of 2 years from the day of purchase. 

Responsibility for goods in transit is that of the customers. We hold no responsibility for damage during transit.


Exceptions

Listed below are the exceptions to the YourTech Swadlincote Warranty cover. 

  • If the item/s has been damaged or tampered with by the customer

  • If the item/s has been damaged or tampered with by a third party attempting a repair

  • If the item/s has been damaged in an attempt to customise or alter it. 

  • If the item/s has been tampered with in any way that could lead to damage or failure. 

  • If the item/s has been damaged due to negligence. This includes but is not limited too: incorrect installation, overheating because of lack of maintenance, general wear and tear and viruses. 

  • If the item/s has failed/been damaged due to software not installed by YourTech Swadlincote

  • If the item/s has been damaged by a natural disaster

  • If the item/s have been damaged accidentally

  • If the item/s are lost or have been stolen. 

  • Data recovery and loss of data



How to Claim

To claim under the YourTech Swadlincote Warranty an e-mail must be sent to YourTechSwad@gmail.com.

This e-mail must include:

  • The order number of the product. (Purchase Invoice on day of payment)

  • The component/s that are damaged or have failed

  • The events that led to the failure of the component

  • Any and all documents and accessories that shipped with the component/s

  • Contact details

The customer will receive a Return Merchant Authorisation (RMA) number.

If it is found that the product/component/s were damaged by the customer, or in transit, the warranty for these component/s will not be repaired, replaced or refunded. Furthermore if the customer requires the product/component/s to be returned, the shipping costs are to be paid by the customer. This can be done via bank transfer or by sending/providing prepaid postage.
